Gold prices in India witnessed a drop of ₹500 today, with 24-carat gold now priced at ₹78,883 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹72,323. Silver prices have also decreased by ₹1,100 per kilogram, currently standing at ₹94,600. The demand for gold remains high globally, but Indian consumers are opting for lighter and lower-carat jewelry due to soaring prices.
